Katie, Emily, Wallace and Gromit: Wallace's Invention is the 85th episode in the series.
Plot[]
Wallace decides to be an invent something. He forces Gromit to try out his Cheese-O-Phone, which allows people to talk to cheese, regardless of their foreign tongues. Next he invents a shaver for Emily that allows people to get a close shave without even being there, which leads to her shaving off most of Emily's clothes but unseen. Before Emily and Gromit can strangle him, Stimpy presents Emily & Gromit with a gift. The gift is Wallace's latest invention, Stay-Put Socks (socks that never fall down). They is at first delighted, but then discovers that the socks are filled with glue. Wallace departs to get the Stay-Put hat and raincoat, and Emily and Gromit attempts to go after but can't get out of the socks. When Wallace returns, he immediately notices that they were angry. Therefore, he decides to invent something that will make one of them happy all the time. After a long inventing session, he comes up with the Happy Helmet, a helmet to control one of their happiness., and puts it on Katie Sandow. Katie is thrust into a state of completely forced happiness. She begins doing nice things for Emily, Wallace and Gromit, such as helping Emily's new clothes, Cleaning Gromit's box and ironing Wallace's underwear. Then Wallace brings home a record one of his 'favorite' song ("Happy, Happy, Joy Joy" by Stinky Whizzleteats). The four of them begin dancing to the record. In the middle of the dancing, Katie, Emily and Gromit runs into the kitchen and finds a hammer in one of the drawers. They uses the hammer to smash Wallace and/or Katie's helmet and then storms back into the living room and begins strangling Wallace for a short bit. It is then that they realizes how much they loves being normal again and thanks Wallace for making them enraged. The episode ends with a shot of Katie grinning into the camera while his maniacal laugh plays in the background.
